A beautiful rosette species, with apple green leaves and stunning pink flowers. These are small plants, 2-3 years old, and have not been offered before in the UK. As with all of the winter growing species listed, this should be kept very damp, stood in a film of rain water in the winter growing season, and dry in the summer. An occasional small amount of water to the base of the pots is beneficial 3-4 times over the summer, when the plant dies back to a swollen root, as this prevents desiccation. Allow as much sun as is possible in the growing season, though these plants colour well even in our grey winters, though a little supplementary lighting will really bring the colours out.
