Unlike R. gorgonias the leaves are produced singly along the stem from an open rosette, but age and die back in the same way, remaining attached for some time before falling from the plant. An interesting observation with this species is the pungent smell it emits during hot weather, best described as a mix of sweetcorn and sewer gas! Currently unavailable.
